Once upon a time, there was an overconfident hare… and some turtles with a plan: to win by helping each other.
Ready, Steady, Go! is a cooperative game inspired by the fable of the hare and the tortoise, where the goal is not to "crush the opponent," but to make decisions as a team, devise a common strategy, and see how patience (and cooperation) can turn the race around.

Ideal for family evenings: fast-paced games, shared decisions, and that "just one more!" feeling.

HOW TO PLAY

Objective
It's a cooperative race: everyone helps the turtles reach the finish line before the hare overtakes them. Here, you win (or lose) as a team.

Setup
1) Assemble the board and the 3D elements (the "burrow"/ramp where the ball will fall).
2) Place the hare and the turtles at the start.
3) Keep the wooden "GO!" ball and the tube handy.
4) Place the food tokens (carrot and lettuces) and the other markers in their spaces on the board (or following the board itself).
5) Distribute the turtles among the players (if there are fewer players, you can control more than one).

How a turn works
1) The current player rolls the ball through the tube.
2) The ball falls into one of the holes in the "burrow": this result indicates whether the hare or a turtle moves, and how many spaces.
3) If the result allows a turtle to move, you can choose to move your own or (if it helps) the turtle that is in last place: the key is to decide together.
4) Apply the effect of the space you land on (collect food, special spaces/animals, etc.).

Food and aids
- Along the way, you can collect carrots and lettuces from the board: these serve as "aids" for making strategic decisions during the race.
- Lettuce tokens can be used to gain temporary advantages (for example, extra moves or jumps), by spending them when needed.
- There are special areas where the hare "rests" (Sleeping Forest): take advantage of these moments to close the distance and coordinate better.

End of the game
- Victory: the turtle team crosses the finish line before the hare.
- Defeat: the hare arrives first (or manages to overtake you as indicated by the track).
